If you’re looking for something a little different than your typical boring breakfast (but you’re just not a morning person like me), you’ve found it! This simple recipe is made with just 4 ingredients and can be thrown together in minutes.
It’s the perfect breakfast for those times when you have family or guests staying over and need something to fill everyone up that doesn’t take a bunch of hassle or clean up. You can even brown the sausage the day before, so that’s all you have to do in the morning is throw everything into the baking dish.
Gather your ingredients: crescent dough, breakfast sausage, eggs, and shredded cheese.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×13 baking dish. Brown the sausage in a skillet and blot with a paper towel to remove any excess grease.
Place the crescent dough onto the bottom of the baking dish and continue with the following steps:
Bake for 30 minutes, and you’re done! Feel free to top it with fresh diced tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, hot sauce, or anything else you’d like to throw on there.

- 1 Pillsbury crescent roll tube (8oz)
- 1 pound mild breakfast sausage
- 6 eggs (blended)
- 2 heaping cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Brown the sausage in a skillet and remove any excess grease with a paper towel.
Cover the bottom of your greased baking dish with the crescent dough, squishing the seams together with your fingers.
Top the dough with an even layer of the browned sausage.
Pour the blended eggs over top, and then sprinkle evenly with a generous amount of cheese. I use 2 heaping cups full!
Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese turns a nice golden brown and the eggs are cooked through.
