Quick & Easy Warm Chili Cheese Dip Appetizer
If you’re looking for last minute appetizer ideas, this warm and cheesy dip will soon be your favorite go-to party dip to feed a crowd. Double the recipe and use a larger pan if you’re serving more than 6 people.
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 can of your favorite chili
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- chips for serving
Step 1 Use the back of a large spoon to spread the cream cheese onto the bottom of a glass pie dish (or any small shallow baking dish). It helps if the cream cheese is softened, but it’s not necessary.
Step 2 Evenly spread the chili over top of the cream cheese. Any chili works, with or without beans. You could even opt for a vegetarian chili.
Step 3 Sprinkle about 1 cup of shredded cheese over top. I used a Mexican cheese blend this time because that’s what I had on hand, but cheddar or Monterey Jack are great choices, too.
Step 4 Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes or until it’s warm and bubbly.
Step 5 Serve immediately with your favorite tortilla chips or Fritos Scoops. You could also top with jalapeños or serve them on the side to spice things up!
