Butter Swim Parmesan Roasted Red Potatoes

These roasted red potatoes are not only quick and easy to make with just a few basic ingredients, but they are absolutely incredible. They pair well with chicken, steak, bbq, seafood, and just about anything else! My favorite thing about this recipe is the fun way of baking them. They’re literally swimming in butter. How can you go wrong with that?

The best potato side dish for dinner! This quick and easy oven roasted red potato recipe is awesome! They're literally swimming in butter so they get super soft in the middle with a crispy and cheesy crust. Serve them with chicken, steak, bbq, and more! My picky kids love them.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1+ tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 pound petite red potatoes
  • non-stick cooking spray

Butter Swim Parmesan Roasted Red Potatoes | An amazing side dish for dinner! Your family is going to go crazy for these crispy roasted buttery potatoes.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add a stick of butter to a 9×13 baking dish or large sheet pan.
  2. Place the baking dish in a cool oven.
  3. Turn oven to 400 degrees F and let the butter melt as the oven preheats.
  4. Remove the pan once the butter is melted.
  5. Wash and cut the potatoes in half.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the parmesan cheese with 1 tbsp of Montreal steak seasoning, or you can use any seasoning you have on hand (salt, pepper, garlic powder, herbs, etc.).
  7. Evenly sprinkle the parmesan mixture over the melted butter.
  8. Place the potatoes cut side down onto the pan right on top of the parmesan and seasoning mixture.
  9. Spray the tops of the potatoes with non-stick spray (or brush them with oil) and sprinkle on a little more seasoning.
  10. Bake uncovered in the center rack for 30-40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

  • These potatoes can be made in a large baking dish or sheet pan as long as the sheet pan has a big enough lip to contain the butter.
